I have always felt uncomfortable, sometimes taking offense at being characterized as “godless” after disclosing my beliefs and worldview. The term godless focuses on what I am not or what I lack and says nothing about what I am or possess as far as beliefs or moral direction.
Even though I do not normally subscribe to pigeon-holing, I was actually relieved to have discovered a term that best describes my worldview…….”bright”

The term is meant to define the much maligned [tag]atheist[/tag], agnostic, naturalist, secularist and humanist communities.
