Forty-four year ago, yesterday, while riding with his wife Jacqueline in a presidential motorcade through Dallas’ Dealy Plaza, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated and the world has never seem to totally recover. What’s it going to take Mr. and Mrs. Congressperson? By now the whole world is aware of Scott McClellan’s admittance that what he said at a White House press briefing on October 10th, 2003 regarding the allegations of Karl Rove and Scooter Libby’s involvement in the leak of CIA Valerie Plame’s true identity was pure bullshit…..but he didn’t know it at the time.

Our Constitution, as written and ratified by our Founding Fathers, was a risky undertaking at the time as it dared to promise specific inalienable rights for the individual citizen.
They went to great lengths to include built-in safeguards to protect us from any future administrations and any possible misunderstandings or misinterpretations, hence the Bill of Rights was born. The primary part of the Constitution elaborates on what the government may or must do and the Bill of Rights elaborates on what the government may not do. This, in my opinion was pure genius and unprecedented in the annals government.
