George Bush’s Farewell Words to the Nation – “Life Ain’t Fair”

The Urban Dictionary defines the old adage Life Ain’t Fair as: A phrase which seems to be able to justify any means people may use to fuck you over…… sound familiar? Bill Clinton lies about having an affair. Result: he’s brought to trial and nearly kicked out of office. Richard Nixon conspires to cover up a break-in at the Democratic National Headquarters. Result: he’s forced to resign just before he would have been booted from the presidency. George W. Bush invades a sovereign country while lying to the American people and the United Nations. Result: nothing more than shitty approval ratings.

Atheist Michael Newdow Initiates Lawsuit over Upcoming Presidential Inauguration

He’s back!!! Michael Arthur Newdow, best known for his efforts to ban recitations of the current version of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools in the United States because of its inclusion of the phrase “under God”, is back at it again. Newdow, and several of his fellow atheists are suing government officials over the injection of religion into the presidential Inauguration with he lawsuit being filed today

COINTELPRO was the FBI’s Patriot Act on Steroids!

If you’ve never heard of COINTELPRO…you should have as it gave birth to the Patriot Act and the Bush Crime Family’s covert and overt infringements on our civil liberties. COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program) is a program of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) aimed at investigating and disrupting dissident political organizations within the United States.The FBI and police instigated violence and fabricated movement horrors. Dissidents were deliberately “criminalized” through false charges, frame-ups, and offensive, bogus leaflets and other materials published in their name. The Counter Intelligence Program helped destroy the movements of the 60s including the Anti-war movement which I was a participant in at the time.

Howard Stern, Howard Stern…..saying goodbye to Howard Stern

DID you hear what Howard Stern said the other day about retiring when his contract expires in two years. “This is my swan song,” he said. Mr. Stern is the infamous, ribald radio jock who once commanded attention with each off-color utterance and obscene joke when he was on free radio and had an audience of 12 million back in the day…..is thinking about calling it quits. Howard Stern was a media and cultural icon whose ramblings were often repeated ( with bleeps) by the mainstream meadia primarily due to its shock value.

Josef Stalin No.3 Most Popular Russian….go figure?

It appears that the Russian people do not have much of a list when choosing who their most popular historical figures are nationwide poll shows. I mean, what does it mean when the third place winner is the warm and loving is Soviet dictator Josef Stalin despite the fact that millions of Soviet citizens perished from famine during forced collectivization, were executed as “enemies of the people” and died in Gulag hard labor camps during his rule.

Coming Out – Gay and/or Atheist is No Easy Task

As far as labels go I can safely say that I am a heterosexual….oh, and I am also an Atheist! Those are the things that I have experience with so it can also be said that I have no point of reference for being gay, you know……a homosexual. Anouncing being either one or both to the world is difficult as there is a stigma that accompany both. This article addresses this issue.
