Obama Dismisses Idea of a Joint Ticket with Clinton
By webreporter on Mar 10, 2008 in BEHAVIOR DOESN'T LIE
Reuters reported that ‘ on Monday ridiculed rival 's repeated hints she would take him for the No. 2 spot on her presidential ticket, accusing her of playing political games in their hard-fought Democratic nominating race.’
Bill and Hillary Clinton have been performing a tag-team match all week talking out of both sides of their mouth with the worst part, for them, is that they are getting caught…bust by the media and anyone else that’s paying attention!
"I don't know how somebody who is in second place is offering the vice presidency to somebody who is in first place," Obama, an Illinois senator, told supporters. The crowd booed when he mentioned Hillary's idea. Obama said the former first lady was playing a political game, denigrating his abilities at the same time she promoted the idea of placing him in a secondary role.
And this is where the Clintons have screwed up, royally! Maybe they think that because they tell a crowd in one town one thing and then tell another crowd in another town something different that no one is going to notice. No, you say! …..nobody can be that stupid. Well it’s not that they are that stupid it is that they think that the American public is that stupid and I am loathe to report that there is a smidgen of truth to that.
I mean one minute you’re telling America that Obama’s resume consists only of giving a great speech in 2002 and then you turn around a say that you would be honered to share the Democratic ticket with him…. Come on Hillary…did you think that nobody would notice?
Clinton, who would be the first woman U.S. president, has raised the idea of a joint ticket with Obama several times since she saved her campaign with big wins in three of four contests last week, including the states of Ohio and Texas.
"I do not believe Senator Clinton is about change because in fact this kind of gamesmanship -- talking about me as vice president, but maybe he's not ready for commander in chief -- that's exactly the kind of double-speak, double-talk that Washington is very good at," he said.
And this is why if Americans are sincerely interested in genuine change, that Barack Obama is the only one up to the task!

I think that Obama is going to get swallowed up by the corruption in Washington he won’t be able to avoid it. he won’t even be able to put a dent in it and they may end up assassinating him, but God bless him he’s trying and has a good plan of attack…. I hope he proves me and all the other skeptics wrong and I’m willing to give him the chance I just hope I’m not sending him a death sentence…

R, I too have my fears and concerns however I believe that he has the best plan of attack. If he can do something that
either eliminates or minimizes the powere of lobbyist and special interest monies then that would have a tremendous impact
on the system as a whole.
I guess we can only wait, see and hope for the best
