Putting the Palin Pregnancy Issue in Perspective

Okay, so there are rumors exploding all over the blogosphere concerning who the mother is of . Is Alaskan Governor 
the mother or is she the grandmother? Is Palin’s daughter actually the mother and the whole truth is being covered up?
Lastly, if there is truth in the above statements then the question remains and must be asked…….WHY? Why would the Palin family initiate and participate in such an elaborate cover-up especially if they knew that Sarah Palin’s very public life is a magnet for people asking tough questions.
The Lang Report is a staunch supporter of free speech and the right to privacy which means that in this case the particulars of the maternity of Trig Palin is nobody’s business. The fine line of privacy and decency is clear on that matter.
The problem stems from how forthright Sarah Palin has been with John McCain and the American public about the truth of the matter.
It has been stated many times in TLR that history has taught us that the real trouble in these matters comes more from the cover-up of the act then the act itself.
Just ask anyone associated with the Watergate Scandal. It wasn’t the third-rate burglary of the Watergate Hotel that brought down Richard Nixon and his administration….. it was the elaborate cover-up that took place after the fact.
The best thing for Sarah Plain to do is to come clean and trust in the good-heartedness of the American people. Yes, there will be those that will choose, for whatever reason, to gain as much mileage out of this very personal matter. Screw them!
That being said, the opposition to John McCain, Sarah Palin and all that they stand for should focus on the hypocrisy of the matter beginning with McCain’s laughable “straight talk express” and Palin’s advocation of “family values.”
If you have to lie maintain your objectives or just get through the day then you shouldn’t be in public life for with it comes a responsibility and the burden of prying eyes.
If there is some sort of cover-up concerning the birth of the newly born Trig Paxson Van Palin then I am sure that the Palin Family has their reasons. We say that if it has to do with something like protecting another family member then so be it.
However if it has to do with the protecting or furtherance of Governor Sarah Palin’s political career then I say shame or her and let the chips fall where they may. In other words….screw her!

All you small minded people who are crucifying Governor Palin over the question of her fifth child, are just fueling a vicious smear campaign. Besides, if you want to exhibit your holier-than-thou attitude … why don’t you get even more angry at Obama, Michelle, and their children, for spending 20 years in an anti-American racist church, as well as associations with Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers, Rezko, etc.. These facts are much more relevant to the next administration, than the possibility of a loving mother taking the heat to protect her child and grandchild.

Well whose business is it if tax payers are footing the medical bills for Gov. Palin’s illegitimate GRANDSON? Isn’t insurance fraud something voters should be concerned about? If MS. “family values” gets health care for her illegitimate grandson that’s fine, but the rest of those illegitimate babies are on their own, right?
I’d say in such a scenario, the line between privacy and public matters has been crossed.

A loving mother lying to the press is okay? I thought that Christians weren’t supposed to lie. If she did that, what kind of example is she setting for her children and other born agains?
The smell of insurance fraud is in the air. Or does Alaska’s health insurance for government employees cover grandchildren?

if any of this is true then she committed a federal offense and it should be investigated. This is insurance fraud at its finest. i work in the insurance industry and there is no insurance policy that would cover the children of a dependent child.there are also a lot of them that wouldn’t cover the pregnancy at all. Also this boyfriend is 18 years old making it statutory rape as well.in most states they prosecute the young man for this even if it was consensual sex. Even if its off limits for the Dems the state of Alaska should be investigating it to make sure no laws were broken.

I can see that this whole controversy has gone past the point where it has any value for the inquisitive citizen and is now entering the world of sensationalism and gossip.
I am in the middle of posting an article following Senator Obama’s lead in promoting a “hands off family” policy.
In fact I applaud Governor Palin for coming clean (we hope so) and say “Mazel Tov” which means good luck and congratulations for the impending birth of her grand-baby.
None of this, so far, has any bearing on the campaign and her ability to do her job.
Period…end of story!

This is the real story, folks! NOT the supposed “current” Bristol Palin pregnancy. Did Sarah Palin as Governor of Alaska create a fake pregnancy of her own to obtain lifetime medical benefits for the disabled son of her unwed daughter, who otherwise was not covered for those benefits? There is plenty of indirect but convincing evidence that she did just that, and that is the story that McCain and his minions are trying to suppress. By claiming that daughter Bristol is now pregnant, it obfuscates further research into the possibility of a real crime that may have been committed by Sarah Palin. Don’t be fooled by this morphing of the story. Did Palin commit insurance fraud – that’s the question.

A reporter in Wasilla in front of the H.S. states that Bristol changed shools halfway through the year.. WAIT FOR IT…
WHEN SHE DISCOVERED SHE WAS PREGNANT…
My bet is tht she didn’t realize she was even pregnant until late 2007 (think of the family pic) and the Palins pulled her out then..
BUT.. today they said she was due in December…. Hmmmmm. That would make for the longest pregnancy ever known. Wouldn’t it?

I have been looking at alaskapodshow and all the “hikes of the week†in the bottom left corner they have a date and they are all posted a day or two after the date on the video… all except Gov. Palin. That one shows a date of 04/05/2008 and the post date says February … HHMM.. I am not saying that that it was altered. It could have been a technical error… I pray that all this doesnt cause anymore stress on that young girl than she already has but I would like for the truth the REAL truth to come out. I can respect that a lot more than what we are being given.
