The Amero and the North American Union – Fact or Fiction?

NEWS FLASH: In 2005, the leaders of Canada, the , and Mexico have agreed to merge their countries into one entity by 2010 and will be known as the “North American Unionalong with the “Amero,” a Euro-like currency that will replace the dollar and peso.

You may have never heard of this before and are sitting there stunned by this amazing announcement. However before you pick up the phone to call your mother, lawyer, priest or broker…..relax. It’s one of the hottest urban legends to come down the pike!

After much research, The Lang Report has discovered the truth. The North American Union and Amero is an exaggeration of events which has been picked up by many major news organizations and broadcast as the real deal, hence becoming another urban legend. FOOLED AGAIN!

Here is a sample of how this rumor gained momentum

It seems that in 2005, President George (wing-nut) Bush, Prime Minister Paul Martin and President Vincente Fox met in Texas to discuss plans for increased cooperation between their countries, improving those areas where there is commonality. THAT’S IT!

That is all that happened! The three men did not sign an agreement or treaty dissolving their countries and currencies and merge into a greater entity called the North America Union (NAU). What the leaders did do was create the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP),  which is merely a dialogue to increase security and enhance prosperity among the three countries.

If you are like me and wonder how these things get started….I’ll tell you, The NAU stemmed from proposals such as Building a North American Community, which is a publication that advocated for more aggressive plans for North American cooperation

So now you know and do not have to make any emergency calls or preparations to ensure you are not sucked up in the vacuum an event like this would create. If the North American Union ever does happen….we’ll let you know, OK?

UNTIL THEN…..CHILL!

The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 gave control of the money supply to a “private bank cartel” which essentially means that banks print money in exchange for IOU’s from the government. With no gold standard, the dollar itself is nothing more than a “fiat” currency in which is manipulated by the powers that be involved with the Federal Reserve (a.k.a, David Rockefeller). The SPP may not itself create a new currency, but it is designed to bring about that specific purpose. An entire super-highway system is being built that is originating in Texas called the Trans Texas Corridor that is spreading throughout the U.S. which will connect to the Mexico and Canada borders. It’s so convenient that trucks will not have to stop at the borders. So much for that Fence at the border, eh? If it’s not true about a new currency, it sure looks like it’s coming down the pike soon enough, anyway. There, I’m chilled. By the way. What is the value of the U.S. dollar on the global market these days, anyhow??

Very well said Paul. Any able body free thinker can research this topic and will be forced to conclude something is amiss. Michael Lang underestimates the inquisitive mind’s penchant for inquiry. Facts are facts and they lead to the truth. What facts did he use to support his claim?

Scott, yes, facts are facts however it is always the interpretation of those facts that can reveal strategies, solution and the like. If you read the article, I really made no claims other thanto state the obvious, i.e., that to merge with Mexico and Canada would dilute the U.S….it’s currency and more important, it’s identity!

The North American Union and Amero are true Michael… Do you think the greenback is being devalued on accident?… This is going to be the spring-board to get ‘us’ on board with this new currency…

Michael, I just found this site today. Much has happened since you last posted on June 22. The market is down another 700 pts today. The “bailout” was passed last week.

Do you feel the same about the NAU/Amero after the fast moving developments of the last 2 weeks?

If This could be “true” rumor says that all ALL bank accounts would disappear but a bank account really isn’t money so if it is “true” how in the world could our bank accounts go to 0 if it ain’t actual money. They tell me to open a bank account out of the USA,Mexico,or Canada is all this just a hoax.

The Amero is a reality, it will show up on the first days of February 2009, the dollar will become toilette paper, believe it or not. You can go safer buying another currencies as Euro, but sooner or later it will fail. The safest option is buying precious metals, they can loose value, but at least you won’t end with 0 “cero”.

Lola, a year ago I would have disagreed with you but now I am not so sure.
All it would take is for the Congress to continue with its present thinking and behavior and your prediction may well come true!

Hello Mr. Lang, Here are a few quotes from some dead presidents that you may find interesting:

“That paper money has some advantages is admitted. But that its abuses also are inevitable and, by breaking up the measure of value, makes a lottery of all private property, cannot be denied. –Thomas Jefferson to Josephus B. Stuart, 1817. ME 15:113

“The trifling economy of paper, as a cheaper medium, or its convenience for transmission, weighs nothing in opposition to the advantages of the precious metals… it is liable to be abused, has been, is, and forever will be abused, in every country in which it is permitted.” –Thomas Jefferson to John W. Eppes, 1813. ME 13:430

“if your currency continues as exclusively paper as it now is, it will foster this eager desire to amass wealth without labor; it will multiply the number of dependents on bank accommodations and bank favors; the temptation to obtain money at any sacrifice will become stronger and stronger, and inevitably lead to corruption, which will find its way into your public councils and destroy at no distant day the purity of your Government. Some of the evils which arise from this system of paper press with peculiar hardship upon the class of society least able to bear it.”

Andrew Jackson Farewell speech March 4, 1837

The Dollar will crash, it has been foreseen for years…

I believe that the amero will come very soon. If you look at whats happening to this economy you can see it. Just read between the lines. I also believe that we are headed toward a cashless society. Just look at all the devices used to get our atm info (skimmers etc.) this is a real problem and eventually the only way to fix this will be to implant us with rfid chips. our bank info, ss#’s and all info about you in the rfid chip. Don’t believe it? Well they already use a similar chip in passports and the have the rfid chips already in some animals to monitor their movements with satellites. This worlds is about to change and very soon just like obama said “change” but we don’t know what kind of change he was talking about do we? And yes I voted for him.
