BERNARD MADOFF!

Hey, has it bothered anybody that Bernard Madoff cut such a quick deal with the prosecutors and was squirreled off from the comfort of his multimillion dollar penthouse to an 80 square foot cell without much discussion in between?

I mean, up until then, most of the news surrounded whether Madoff was going to be allowed to stay out on bail during his trial. Then…the next thing we are seeing is the media camped out in front of his apartment building waiting for him to come out and be escorted to jail.

I was surprised….were you?

What has he got to hide and who is he so afraid of? Organized crime otherwise known as “The Mob” perhaps?

Makes a lot of sense if you think about it.

Most people, especially people with money try to stay out of jail for as long as possible, right? They tell their lawyers…..”do whatever you have to do, just keep me out of jail and exhaust every trick in the book to make it happen. That’s what you’re being paid for!”

But not Bernard Madoff. You would think he had a hot date waiting for him, I mean, everyone knows, including Bernie himself, that he is probably going to die behind bars….so what’s the rush?

The is only one reason that makes sense to me as to why he was in such a hurry is.... THE MOB!

Think it through. If Madoff was in some way fronting for the Mob or somewhere along the way the Mob discovered his scam…they would have wanted IN! And when organized crime knocks…..you answer fast and let them in. Right?

And then, when Madoff gets arrested, he is forced to take a quick dive so that his “goomba buddies” are kept in the dark and his family members are given safe passage to live to a ripe old age.

Make sense? I think so.
