Palin Pregnancy Bombshell - TRUTH or RUMOR?
By Michael Lang on Aug 31, 2008 in Featured
The blogosphere is buzzing with rumors concerning Governor and the newly born boy, . reportedly not being her son but in reality being the son of her daughter, Bristol which would make John McCain’s chosen running mate, a grandmother. WOW!!!
On March 5th of this year, Alaska’s 44 year-old Governor Palin delivered a surprise to her constituents that she’s pregnant with her fifth child expected sometime in mid-May.
"I will be delivering an addition to the first family," she told a stunned group of reporters as her staff stood by muttering that she hardly looks seven months pregnant. Just two months ago she was modeling for fashion magazine Vogue and spent that day posing at her home in Wasilla.
Could this be a reprise of the Thomas Eagleton debacle?
For those not old enough to remember, Thomas Eagleton was the Senator from Missouri who, in 1972, was chosen as George McGovern’s Vice Presidential running mate only to be removed from the ticket shortly thereafter after revelations of mental illness and electroshock therapy were disclosed. As it turned out, Eagleton was hospitalized for depression and underwent electroshock therapy as part of his treatment which was the norm back then.
Back to “Palin the Righteous.” According to comments from classmates and other members of the community Bristol Palin, the governor’s 16 year old daughter was out of
school during what would have been the last trimester of the governor’s pregnancy due to a bad case of mono. A case so severe, according to the Palin family, Bristol missed nearly 5 months of school. Her own staff had their doubts back in March.
The story is that Sarah Palin’s water broke while she was attending a conference in Texas. She then proceeded to give a 30-minute speech before taking an 11-12 hour flight home to Alaska to give birth.
Now there are some medical related questions that have arose concerning the course of events.
This was alleged to have been Gov. Palin’s 5th pregnancy. It is reported that the more pregnancies a woman has….the quicker the labor progresses. And in the event that there is a spontaneous rupture of membrane (water breaking), there isn’t a very long window of time before the eagerly anticipated bundle of joy makes his debut to the world. More importantly, once a pregnant woman’s water breaks she needs to seek medical attention immediately as not doing so can predispose mother and child to sepsis - a serious systemic infection. In other words, this doesn’t add up.
NOTE: I am not a doctor but hear is one medical professional weighing in on the whole affair – READ THIS.
Now we can gather all of the facts, reports and innuendos, debate them all day long and still not know, at this time, exactly what transpired and who really is the biological mother of Trig Paxson Van Palin.
But, as everybody knows….the truth will be revealed as there is a whole nation of enquiring minds that need to know.

this story can go to main stream news: even it is her own baby the whole traveling back to small town Alaska to deliver the baby is so irresponsible, we now know enough about this woman’s judgement. Not fit for office.

If the baby is her daughters matters not, it is a good thing to shield loved ones under your own umbrella. It appears in desperation an attempt to gain back momentum for the blogosphere to discredit itself in such a manner. Remember who stole from his own team. Remember how it was covered up?
With all due respect to the Senator from the Great State of Illinois, you have displayed your true colors. That saying about friends of a feather holds true with you and John Garcia. Bullies and ellitist have no place in a position of power. You are wrong. I personally guarantee you will never be president. You have no couth! To treat one of your own, a loyal team player with such inconsideration is very revealing. Ask Mikal about the detrimental mistake you just made. Cuz “just like everything else those ole crazy dreams just kinda came and went”.
You owe the man; pay him.
He deserves it.

Could we all wake up here and consider one basic and startling fact: Sarah Palin gave birth to a premature, high needs disabled infant four months ago, this April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t care what religion you espouse - in what moral framework would you accept and campaign for the position of vice-president of the United States with an infant like this who needs you as a mother???
This proves once again that “pro-life” means nothing more than blasting the babe out of your womb and then saying to hell with it. I am surprised this is not being made more an issue!!!
Palin’s other children (like Obama’s) are at an age and healthy enough that it is feasible to believe they could receive adequate care and attention without the close bond of mothering.
But any child care professional, let along ages of cultural wisdom will confirm that a mother’s care, holding, touch etc. is vital for the health of a new born infant, especially one born premature, disabled and only four months old. Its already outrageous enough that this child has to compete for attention and care in between Palin’s governor-ship duties. Why would Palin consciously accept more, now???
Obviously, she’s not even nursing him, holding or truly bonding with him. Obviously she’s will not be building a loving quiet and calm family matrix for him, directed by a true mothering impulse. That will be impossible jetting around the country.
Palin touts being pro-life but what kind of life care is this??? This is extreme parental negligence. Its not like she is a single Mom who has to go out and work. Palin is making these choices.
This has nothing to do with the family values the Republicans hypocritically espouse. The has nothing to do with the Biblical role of mother that Republican Christian conservatives supposedly champion.
Two questions: If Sarah Palin is such a great mother why would she accept a position that would literally tear her away from what is needed for her infant son. If McCain and cohorts believe family values are important why did they choose her?

I work at the high school and in that picture she looks like half the girls in the high school! So what she doesn’t have a flat stomach, with the jeans they wear being cut so low it sometimes make even a small ‘pooch’ seem more pronounced. I am sure all this stupid speculation is doing wonders for her self-esteem!
I have been pregnant three times, the first two with singles and the last with triplets…the first pregnancy I gained twice as much as my other two, even the pregnancy with triplets, so no, subsequent pregnancies don’t always mean gaining more weight or showing quicker. With triplets, many people didn’t realize I was pregnant until I was around 5 months!
Additionally, I don’t know why people keep saying doctors don’t recommend flying after 7 months or whatever. My doctor told me not to fly after 38 weeks, and the airlines told me the same thing!
Also, with my second, my water broke at 7a.m., and I went to the mall that afternoon, out to eat, and didn’t actually start ‘labor’ until around 8 p.m. then my daughter was born (2nd labor planned home birth) at almost midnight. So, just because her water broke doesn’t mean she should have immediately gone to the hospital. I seriously doubt a woman with her morals would purposely jeopardize the health of her unborn child.
This is NOT a scandal people!

I heard that Bristol is homeschooled, so would the mono thing be wrong? Here’s an article:

There is a Father in the Picture as well, Mr Mom maybe?
Although it is physically impossible for Fathers to nurse children; he can nurture a child, hold, cuddle, bond and most everything else a mother can provide. Why not?
