Two-Party System is Broken Beyond Repair - Time for Real Change is Now!

: Governor, wrestler, and still a Contrarian with a message worth listening to….

There are many powerful people and institutions in our society whose primary purpose is to ensure that things remain as they are and that any inevitable changes are kept within acceptable limits. And who defines what’s acceptable. THEY DO!

Now who THEY are is not as important as what they control and how it impacts every citizen of the United States.

Every once in a while someone comes along that, for any number of reasons, captures enough of the public’s attention and respect not to be cast aside as a crackpot…..although efforts are made.

I have been watching, whenever the opportunity presents itself, the former Governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, make the rounds on the usual news talk and entertainment shows sounding off about the subjects of greatest interest to most Americans.

There is little doubt that Jesse Ventura is a contrarian and if there is, he will set you straight on the matter in a “New York second.”

Most people, especially outside of Minnesota, have dismissed Ventura as a joke or freak which is not a stretch if you’ve ever seen pictures of him in his pro wrestling days when he was better known as Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

Of all of the issues that he has been speaking out about, the one that has caught my attention is his take on the current Presidential election. When asked who he would support his reply was nobody and continued with his recommendation to add a “None of the Above” option which would, in essence be a vote of “No Confidence”  for the candidates on the ballot. (SEE THE “FEATURE VIDEOS” SECTION FOR VENTURA’S LARRY KING INTERVIEW)

“It’s irrelevant,” he says, “I oppose the two-party system. All it is more of the two-party dictatorship. It would be amazing just how often ‘none of the above’ would win … the only difference I see is that if a Democrat wins (in November) our taxes will go up. That’s not saying they spend any more or less than the Republicans but the Republicans put it on a credit card, or the national debt.”

It has, in my opinion, become obvious to any truthful onlooker that the “two party” system is broken beyond repair. Any attempts to fix our system can only be described as exercises in futility and akin to trying to “save our face and our ass at the same time”, a phrase used often by this author.

The only thing that has any chance of effecting significant change is to birth of a legitimate Third Party as it is our belief that only thing that would motivate a “career politician” to chnage is the threat of losing his job. As it stands now, the only thing that chnages now id the nameplates on a Congressperson’s door.

How can we find out if Jessee will run for President? Does he have a web site? We tried to get bumper stickers etc. even paid for them…nothing? This is the year if there ever was one the competition is floundering in the gate.
