Bush Alters Reality After Dismissing the Facts and His Own Intelligence Experts
By Michael Lang on Dec 5, 2007 in I'M MAD AS HELL....
George W. Bush is an embarrassment….George W. Bush is a liar……and GEORGE W. BUSH IS DANGEROUS
He’s at it again! defended his hard line in Iran, warning that its regime remains a serious threat DESPITE a NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE ESTIMATE (NIE) showing that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program 4 YEARS AGO.
Let me repeat that: DESPITE A NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE ESTIMATE
Once again, in the face of the facts and the assessment of his own intelligence experts, Bush will continue to push his single-minded agendas. A little more than a month ago, Mr. Bush said he feared Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons could lead to World War III.
Since we at The Lang Report believe that George Bush has redefined the term “pretzel logic,” when he makes statements like: “Look, Iran was dangerous, Iran is dangerous, and Iran will be dangerous, if they have the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”
Mr. Bush, it is YOU that is dangerous because using the above logic would allow you to declare any one and any thing dangerous because you have had great success with using that rhetoric to instill fear into the American people so that they will support your delusional “war on terror.” (Read on for More Truth)
The assessment reversed one in 2005 that asserted that Iran was "determined to develop nuclear weapons and that the reversal was based on "a great discovery" by American intelligence agencies, but neither he nor other officials would elaborate. (He could tell us but then he would have to kill us….ha,ha)
Representative Jane Harman, a Democrat of California, said she read the classified version of the report on Tuesday and described the intelligence agencies’ work as "a sea change" from the 2005 assessment in the quality of its analysis and presentation of facts. Sea of change? Doesn’t that mean that there is a big difference Georgey?
Warning, Warning… In an attempt to initiate damage control, Mr. Bush and his senior aides spent the day trying to hold together the already fragile coalition of world powers while Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice telephoned her counterparts from the five other countries that have been pursuing United Nations sanctions against Iran to urge that the coalition continue work on a new round of increasingly tighter sanctions.
Bush opened himself to new criticism over his credibility when he said that the Director of National Intelligence, Mike McConnell, alerted him about the new intelligence in August but did not explain what it was in detail. (bullshit!)
Bush continued to use "scare tactics," using Iran’s nuclear weapons as a threat, "invoking World War III"….. despite the new information! He responded to a question about that on Tuesday by saying he had received the final assessment, with its drastically altered findings, only last week. (bullshit!)
"That’s not believable," said Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr.
(D-DE) who is Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and a candidate for president.
"I refuse to believe that. If that’s true, he has the most incompetent staff in American, modern American history and he’s one of the most incompetent presidents in modern American history."
The thing that has been puzzling me for some time now; especially after another one of Bush’s crimes against Us, the American people is, “Why aren’t American citizens everywhere marching in the streets in protest?
WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE?
