I have resisted this moment hoping that events would change and cooler heads would prevail however I am sad to report that it is no so. The behavior of Bill and and their Cabal is proving everything that people like Rush Limbaugh and the Republicans have been saying about them all these years.

That they will do and/or say almost anything to further their agenda and label it “shrewd politics.” Hasn’t Bill Clinton always been called and admired for being the most astute politician in of our time?

It is unfortunate that the American public is so jaded by the system that they will be very quick to believe almost anything and very slow to give up that belief. Therein lies the motivation for dishonest politics and to be the first to attack because mounting a defense is most times seen as a cover-up. ONE BIG VICIOUS CYCLE…..WHERE DOES SIT END? 

I finally relented to write this article after listening to my favorite radio commentator, Randi Rhodes, who is one of the most progressive talk radio personalities in America and now featured on Air America Radio. She had an extremely compelling argument, itemizing why Hillary Clinton needs to stop her antics now before she puts John McCain in the White House.

Consider this:

• The controversial anti-Barack Obama email that Iowa Clinton supporter Chris Dodd sent claiming that Obama is a Muslim whose campaign is part of a plot to destroy the United States.

• Howard Wolfson, an aide to Hillary Clinton likened Barack Obama to independent prosecutor Ken Starr, comparing criticism of her to the 1998 probe that led to President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

• Hillary, in her Texas/Ohio victory speech, added Florida and Michigan to the list even though she was told that those two states would not be allowed to participate in the electoral process

• The suspected connection between the Clintons and the Saudi Royal family along with the governments of Dubai, Kuwait, and Qatar and the deputy prime minister of Lebanon donating a reported $10 million to the Clinton Library

There is more but I think, or at least hope that you get the point. All of this infighting is going to fuel the Republicans and John McCain who really should be un-electable,

There is one last thing that I wish to share with you and that is a letter released by a group of Ohio Jewish community leaders to the Clinton Campaign condemning the negative attacks on Senator Barack Obama by Clinton campaign staff and campaign fundraisers.

While many false things have been written about Barack Obama and circulated on the Internet, it should be out of bounds during an election for rival campaigns to lend any legitimacy to such claims. You, yourself, were a victim of such tactics during your 2000 run for U.S. Senate in New York.  Those tactics were wrong then, and they are wrong now.  While your campaign spokespeople offered no comment to Newsweek for its story, we urge you and your campaign leadership to repudiate these unfounded allegations.  As those affiliated with your campaign are involved in propagating these rumors, we trust you will encourage them to immediately cease such tactics.

For the first time in America’s history, a woman and Afro-American are running for the presidency of the United States and it is very sad that instead of celebrating this moment to be shared with future generations, we are embarrassing ourselves and cheating our childrens’ children. ….And for no good reason except for the glory of winning and the fleeting adulation of others. Shame on you Hillary Clinton and shame on us too!
