What If DARFUR Was a White European Country?

The title to this article about poses an interesting question, infers a global prejudice and lastly, makes a sad commentary on those of us that sit and watch the genocidal atrocities occur on a daily basis.DARFUR BABY

Many documentaries have been filmed about Darfur depicting an unimaginable human disaster that has becoming daily life for the Sudanese. Panels and Forums have been conducted at numerous United Nation Assemblies with all of the participants debating the pros and cons of various potential solutions. Oh, let us not forget all of the many books and articles on the "problem in Darfur" that have been written and published including those in The Lang Report.

And the end result? MORE FILMS, FORUMS and BOOKS! Of course there are the lucky ones like those seen in this picture of Sudanese Refugee Camp. Darfur Refugee Camp While all of the greatest minds in all of the greatest countries of the world ponder and debate the "Darfur Question", hundreds of thousands of refugees are herded into these camps like cattle only to sit day in and day out waiting for the world to develop a conscience that actually works.

When I started this article I was going to write this long rant on how these people and their plight would be dealt with if they were "white Europeans". I decided, after viewing the enclosed photos, that it is a ludicrous question with an obvious answer.

If Sudan was a European country and its citizens were white Caucasians? There would not be a "Darfur question"!

…….and what does that say about us?

Hell ya there would be no question if they were white. We actually know how to be civil and we have learned from our mistakes and dont go around just capturing people. We are much more civilized than black people are. I think black people react on their feelings and do not know how to slow down and think and do whats best for the people.

Dallas, I have to disagree with you on this one. I am sure that your depiction of “black” people id based on your experience but I caution you not to generalize with any specific group of people.
I do however support your right o your opinion.
