, Godfather-in-Chief of the Bush Crime Family is experiencing a 24% approval rating, a new low according to the latest Reuters/Zogby Poll.

So I’ll say it again – Who Are These People? I have been asking this question for several years now and I am just as dumbfounded as the first time I asked it.

“You hear people say he has a hard core that will never desert him and that has been the case for most of his administration,” says Charles Franklin, a political scientist at the University of Wisconsin who studies presidential approval ratings. “But for the last few months we started to see that hard core seriously erode in support.”

Now I am a big believer in loyalty and admire those that demonstrate it but I cannot fathom how the same brain can love America and George Bush at the same time without imploding. Unless, of course, it’s the unconditional love you would expect family and friends, etc.

Aside from family, friends, staff and close confidants……..Who are these other people?

Combine that unconditional love with a whole lot of denial and BINGO, you have a “Bushie”, aka a Bush supporter.

The media, now that it is starting to awaken from its long slumber, bombards us daily with:

• Bush’s faux pas and fuck-ups,
• Our country being a trillion plus dollars in debt,
• A war with another one or two waiting in the wings
• The scorn of the rest of the world including our allies

And with all of that, it blows my mind that there is still 25% of the population that is proud to call him Mr. President!

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
