In a brutally honest article written by Rolling Stone writer Matt Taibbi titled “Giuliani: Worse Than Bush”, he opens with ‘He’s cashing in on , working with Karl Rove’s henchmen and in cahoots with a Swift Boast-style attack on Hillary. Will be Bush III?

If you think that George Bush has epitomized ignorance, apathy and self interest (to name a few) and believe that anyone would be an improvement then I caution you to think again and read this article. I have paraphrased parts of Taibbi’s expose as there are passages that I could not have said better.

‘Yes, Rudy is smarter than Bush. But his political strength (and he knows it) comes from America’s unrelenting passion for never bothering to take that extra step to figure shit out.’

That statement is so true and so very, very sad because that kind of ignorance and apathy provides little hope for us, Americans, to dig ourselves out of the massive hole that the Bush Crime Family has dug for us.

That mindset also prevents us from asking those questions and then questioning those answers regarding candidates like Giuliani who rely on their silver tongues and sophisticated spinmeisters to warp reality and capture voter confidence and support.

For instance, the “WTC cough”, which is one of those dirty little secrets lurking underneath Rudy’s 9/11 image; while the cleanup effort at the Pentagon was turned over to federal agencies like OSHA which required relief workers to wear hazmat suits, the WTC cleanup was handed over to Giuliani! (Rudy proclaimed that there were “no significant problems” with the air at the WTC! Since the cleanup ended, respiratory ailments like sarcoidosis; leukemia and lymphoma and other cancers; and immune system problems)

NOW DIG THIS – There is a likelihood that more people will eventually die from the cleanup than from the original accident,” says David Worby, an attorney representing thousands of cleanup workers in a class-action suit against the city. “Giuliani wears 9/11 like a badge of honor, but he screwed up so badly.”

DID YOU GET THAT AMERICA?

Let’s take a look at some of the issues that need to be investigated and publicized so that any and all political scoundrels can be vetted and outed to the general public. But hey, don’t take my word for it, do your own research!

GIULIANI –

• “Giuliani the Hypocrite” – as prosecutor he called drug dealers “murderers”– and then as a lobbyist represented Seisent, a security firm run by former cocaine smuggler, Hank Asher – Giuliani proclaimed ‘I have a great admiration for what he is doing.” (after billing Asher $2million)
• Failed to resolve the feuding between the N.Y. City’s police and firefighters prior to the attack which led to untold numbers of deaths; the most tragic example: police helicoptors could not warn firemen of the collapsing South Tower of World Trade Center.
• When 9/11 Commission criticized his fire department – Giuliani declared, “Our anger should be directed at one source and one source only – the terrorists who killed our loved ones.”
• “Giuliani the Opportunist” – went on road as the “Man with the Bullhorn” earning up to $200,000 per speaking engagement; in 2002 he earned $8million for speaking and $11million this past year.
• Giuliani Partners, his security firm set up to cash in on his 9/11 image
• Commissioned $600,000 report on privatizing JFK and La Guardia airports from a consultant with ties to the British Airport Authority who Rudy handpicked to manage airports
• Allow Deputy Mayor who was on Major League Baseball payroll to work on deals for Yankees and Mets

Giuliani is an opportunist and hypocrite of the worst kind for he is not just a “bull in his hometown china shop”; he won’t be satisfied until he has a whole nation to milk, fuck over and stroke his massive ego. But again, if there are still 25% of the American public that still kow-tow to Bush. I am fairly sure that Rudy can find some selfish ass wipes to cast a vote his way….you think?
