Considering ’s religious zeal, I am almost convinced that he believes that we are in what the refers to in the “Book of Revelations” as the “end times”.

If that doesn’t scare you…..it should!

The idea of a self-fulfilling prophecy is more than just a concept, it happens.

Consider what Seymour Hersh just wrote in The New Yorker magazine:

“The Bush Administration, while advocating diplomacy in order to stop Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon, has increased clandestine activities inside Iran and intensified planning for a possible major air strike.

The article goes on to describe and disclose what Mr. Hersh has discovered from his White House and Pentagon sources.

Hersh continues, “There is a growing conviction among members of the United States military, and the international community, that President Bush’s ultimate goal in the nuclear confrontation with Iran is regime change”.

Now, a rational and seasoned leader would explore and exhaust every diplomatic device available before resorting to “crossing a line of no return”.

Unfortunately for us and the rest of the world Mr. Bush’s past behavior says that he does not honestly believe in negotiation and diplomacy, especially while he commands the most powerful military machine the world has ever known.

For me, Bush’s past displays of moronic strategic thinking is not my ultimate concern even though it is enough to scare an aging junkie straight. My ultimate concern is his apparent belief that he is a major player in the Apocalypse; and if his past behavior is any indication of what is to come, he’ll be hell-bent on playing his part to perfection and do his all to make it all happen…..just as it is written!
