A Razor’s Edge Separates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama

It has been over 50 years since a political party had to negotiate its candidate for the President of the United States AT its National Convention. But as revealed by yesterdays’voting, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are still in the race, neck and neck with a reported 50,000+ votes separating them with over 14 million votes cast. Of all the votes cast on Super Tuesday for the two candidates nationwide, they are only separated by 0.4 of a percentage point…..THAT’A AMAZING!!!

Actually, nothing was really decided in yesterdays Super Tueday primaries except that the race is far from over and that Hillary and Barack are two very popular presidential candidates that have stirred our nation. By midday Wednesday, CNN reported that Clinton had a slight edge in the popular vote with 7,350,238 of votes cast to 7, 295,400 for Obama, or 50.2%-49.8%. Votes are still being counted.

For too many years, the stereotypical complaint has been that American citizens were apathetic towards the poltical process with voter turn-out in a steady decline from year to year. NO MORE!!!

Not since Robert Kennedy, has the “average Joe” felt inspired into action and compelled to get involved like never before. The universal complaint has been that “a vote” is an exercise in futility as it will have zero impact on the problems that plague our Nation and the average American family.

Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for the presidency?
Scotsman - United Kingdom
I think Hillary will get a lot of support, because she is a woman; that was a big thing in New Hampshire. I know a lot of people in my parents’ generation are vehemently against her, for one reason or another. Back when Bill Clinton was in, they were anti-Bill Clinton, and I think she has been tarred with the same brush. I think almost half the votes were decided in Super Tuesday, so a lot of things will fall out today or shortly after.
