Public Enemy’s Chuck D has given his support to Barack Obama in the race to be the next Democrat candidate and the next President of the USA. However, the rapper also explained that he’s worried the state of the country won’t allow Obama to fulfil his duties. Speaking to NME.COM, Chuck D said: "I think Barack Obama is the right man for the job, but maybe in the wrong country right about now that will be able to treat it right and give him the pressures that will not allow him to do the job."
Like McCain, Obama Raises Money Away From Cameras

DENVER — Barack Obama will hold a fund-raiser here this morning and despite his criticism of the closed nature of John McCain’s fund-raiser with President Bush yesterday, cameras will not be allowed to attend this morning’s event. One print reporter will be allowed as a pooled reporter.

Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton joined with Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain in signing the ad in The New York Times headlined "GENOCIDE." "We stand united and demand that the genocide and violence in Darfur be brought to an end," the ad says, followed by the candidates’ signatures. The ad says the candidates have also pledged to seek an end to the violence in Darfur if elected. The ad was paid for by SaveDarfur, which describes itself on its Web site as an alliance of over 180 faith-based, advocacy and humanitarian organizations.

Gallup: Clinton does slightly better in ‘swing states’ than Obama

Gallup’s headline: "Hillary Clinton’s swing-state advantage." Gallup looked at the 48 states that have already held Democratic presidential primaries or caucuses. It factored in which of those 48 had been won by Clinton during the nomination battle and which had been won by Obama.
