We hope the above title will be printed in every newspaper in the civilized world this Wednesday, November 7, 2007; until then we need to stay informed, motivated and unrelenting in holding the Bush Crime Family and its “Consuliere”, Richard B. Cheney accountable. 

“The momentum is building for …..  millions of citizens across the nation are demanding Congress rein in the Vice President’s abuse of power,” Rep. Dennis (D-OH) said in a statement on his website, Kucinich.house.gov.

On September 28^th, The Lang Report first reported on the introduction of House Resolution 333 by Dennis Kucinich. The Resolution is causing much debate with the Republicans unable to refute the charges as they are so straightforward  with the Vice President’s actions being a matter of public record.

The balance of his statement is as follows: Congressman Dennis Kucinich announced today (11/2/07) that he will be offering a “privileged resolution” on the House floor next week that will bring articles of impeachment against Vice President Richard B. Cheney.

“Despite the groundswell of opposition to the unconstitutional conduct of office, Vice President Cheney continues to violate the U.S. Constitution by insisting the power of the executive branch is supreme.”’

“Congress must hold the Vice President accountable. The American people need to let Members of Congress know how they feel about this. The Vice President continues to use his office to advocate for the continued occupation of Iraq and prod our nation into a belligerent stance against Iran. If the Vice President is successful, his actions will ensure decades of disastrous consequences.”

The privileged resolution has priority status for consideration on the House floor. Once introduced, the resolution has to be brought to the floor within two (2) legislative days, although the House could act on it immediately. Kucinich is expected to bring it to the House floor on Tuesday,November 6^th.

The Resolution has 21 Democratic co-sponsors, but before we all celebrate, the Resolution will almost certainly be thwarted by the Republicans and their “motion to table.”  Due to the culture of fear that Washington has been operating on throughout the Bush Administration, I am worried that such a move will succeed despite the obvious high crimes and misdemeanors that the Bush Crime Family is guilty of.

Editorial Note: We Americans have a unique opportunity to begin the process of repairing the damage done to our Republic and the Democratic process that has sustained us for over 231 years. Our only hope is that we first face the nature or our condition and hold responsible those that we have entrusted to protect and preserve our United States and its Constitution.

I implore all Americans to now put aside differing ideologies and unite, if only for this Resolution, and rise up as patriots to support the courageous efforts of Congressman Kucinich. Failing to do so, will send a message to the world that will are willing to accept treasonous leaders.

Please, contact your representatives in Congress and urge them to stand up and support the resolution this Tuesday. DO IT!!!
