At first sight it appears like a skit from as the so-called “faithful” conduct what they are calling on US Highway 35 which they, in their delusion, believe is the road the Bible is referring to in Isaiah 35, Verse 8 which reads: "And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness."

This rival the cheese sandwich that the same people swore revealed the face of their savior, Jesus Christ, which was then auctioned off on eBay for over $1700…..what a deal!

Instead of promoting these people on the evening news shouldn’t we be considering doing a professional intervention of some sort to evaluate them for their possible need for psychtropic medication? These Purity Sieges can be described as a spiritual demonstration with the Youth across the nation laying "siege" on designated sites of impurity in their city, by doing on-location prayer. They will be protesting the machinations of evil, such as pornography, injustice and abortion.

A Dallas church, the Heartland World Ministry, its members believe that I-35 actually has biblical meaning. The church’s Pastor, Stephen Hill states, “There are lots of great highways in America, but let’s start somewhere; and Highway 35, Isaiah 35:8 says that I will build a highway of holiness….. and the Bible says without holiness, no man will see the Lord.”

As I write this I am trying very hard to keep a straight face and chalk this up to just another harmless fanatical interpretation of the Bible but there is a potential serious threat that their thinking poses and one day it is going to manifest itself into a lot more then a roadside vigil. Think about it and the terrors that the American people are experiencing form the fanatical fundamentalism of another religion.

No one thought that the street demonstrations of fanatical Moslems would evolve into young people strapping bombs to their bodies and blowing themselves and a whole lot of innocent bystanders up…..now did they?
