JOHN NIRENBERG Decided to “Activate My Citizenship” to Impeach George Bush

A 60 year old academic/author named , who claims the he is “no activist” is doing something most of us so-called civic-minded citizens wish we had the guts to do. “Activate our citizenship” by confronting tyrrany and injustice in an attempt to make a difference.
Yesterday, John Nirenberg started to walk from Boston to Washington D.C. to confront House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and persuade her to put the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney back “on the table” and do what the American people now crave.
“This is about satisfying my conscience. I just don’t want to be the guy who says in five years that I regret not having stood up and said something,” Nirenberg admitted.
He plans to walk 15 miles per day while wearing a sandwich sign with “Save the Constitution, Impeach Bush and Cheney” written on it. He, like you and I (an assumption) was frustrated by what he saw as constitutional abuses by the Bush Administration and decided to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

I have been interested in seeing Bush impeached and run out of Washington on a rail since he stole the 2000 election. It is said, but not confirmed at this time, that Pelosi said she would move forward with impeachment if she received 10,000 hand written letters to impeach. It is also said that the number she has received is getting closer to 100,000. If so, what the f*ck is she waiting for?
How many letters is it going to take for Congress to do what our Founding Fathers said we must do in the face of tyrrany, injustice and any attempt by those that opt to re-write the Constitution of the United States?
